ABOUT THIS EVENT: All clans, (and some kittypets and loners) are welcome to Corner Stones aka, gathering place. All are cats of age are welcome, and that also includes kits, who will be in their own separate play area supervised by a warrior.
The event idea was created by a loner named Bodie. He came up with the idea of trading foreign objects to other cats for prey or other useful objects found in their territories. He happened to stumble upon a crowd of clan cats who were interested in what he brought with him. After this, he began to make trips back to Corner Stones at the same time every year to make trades, and it has become a popular tradition among the clans. The cats gather around and trade their prey for objects, usually to give them as gifts to others they care about. The clans call this event the Flower Festival.
BODIE'S MARKET:
Flowers: singular, bouquets, and flower crowns
Fruit: raspberries, strawberries and blueberries
Other: homemade collars, resin traps (insects encased inside dried resin), and an assortment of old human objects found in the city, feathers and catnip!

Galesmoke's eyes sparkled as she stared into the grove of trees. They circled around large boulders, where the leaders usually sat to share news with the other clans. The gray and white she-cat padded toward Bodie, her eyes surveying the contents of the market that he brought them.

Mousestar lay on the second boulder, his usual placement at the clan gatherings. The stone was warm from the sun's rays. Usually when he sat there, it was freezing under his pads, but this time it was comforting, even in the cooler weather. He glanced down as someone approached him.
Coalpaw made his way into the field. His stomach twisted uneasily. It was his first time attending the Flower Festival. The charcoal tom breathed. There were so many cats scattered about. Some chased one another playfully, while others sat and shared tongues. He cast a glance to his mentor. Jumpwing was sitting by himself under the safe shade of a tree. He remembered the tom mentioning that he didn't particularly enjoy coming to this event.
Twigleg followed behind her son. A sigh left her. She looked around the gathered cats, but she didn't see any sight of ReedClan's medicine cat. The brown tabby remembered how they used to spend time at this event together before Coalpaw and Scorchkit were born. She inhaled deeply she shook herself, as if attempting to shake away the thought. She padded past her son and headed toward a small group of warriors.

Thawkit's blue eyes were wide as he looked around the bramble patch that guarded the kits. "Whoa," he mewed to himself. It was his first festival, and gathering at that. Excitement tingled in his paws. He grabbed a piece of moss that clung to a rock and balled it up. The white tom glanced around at the others. "Does anyone want to play moss ball?"
Doepaw padded quietly behind her mother. This was the first time she’d seen a smile on her mother’s face ever since her fathers tragic death. Doepaw looked about for the familiar charcoal tom but couldn’t see him. Jaymoon smiles graciously at the familiar queens faces from other clans. She felt uplifted at their smiles. Yet, she felt a sorrow tug lightly at her heart strings. The flower festival brought back memories from when her mate and herself would visit the place. Deerpaw trudged sulkily along. He was being dragged along to this stupid event with his mother and sister. He sighed at the happy sight of mates. ‘YUCK!’ he thought dully to himself. ‘What a pointless event.’
Squirrelspring had a bounce in his step as he walked beside Blackrose to meet the ReedClan apprentice. He dropped the leaf on the ground and let out a welcoming purr. "Hi! I'm Squirrelspring."
Thawkit offered Hawkkit a sympathetic nuzzle on her ear. "Sorry," he murmured. "Do you want me to get help?"
Blackrose glanced over at the other molly. "Sure, she seems lonely," she agreed and delicately picked up her raspberries. "Hello there," Blackrose meowed the simple greeting to the other molly as they approached. Hawkkit let out a sniff of pain. "My muzzle hurts," she whined. Placing one of her delicate paws on her muzzle she rubbed it gently. "Ow!" She let out a yelp and a tear sprang in her eye.
to her surprise, Kidneypaw’s day was going surprisingly well, she had minimal to no interaction, the vegetation Above had formed a thick blanket of shade protecting her from the scorching sun above. But as her eyes scanned the clearing cluttered with cats, her eyes feel on two cats who seemed to sit away from everyone. Chuckling to herself in a sense of mockery, the chemical reaction was pointless. But as her eyes scanned away before scanned away, they quickly swiveled back towards the sound of cats approaching. They were walking. Towards her!?
"We'll to see about that!" Squirrelspring humored the she-cat with a chuckle. BreezeClan cats are odd, he thought to himself. He skimmed the field with his eyes, landing on a warm colored she-cat nearing a tree. His ears pricked forward with intrigue. She's was alone, seemingly uninterested in everything going on among the gathered felines. "We should go talk to her," he purred, motioning with his tail. He picked up the berries wrapped around a leaf between his teeth with care and began to pad over the snow.
The small tom stopped, suppressing a gasp. Once he had a few seconds to register what had happened, he let out a laugh. "You're so clumsy!" He snagged the moss in his claws and flicked it away. "You're okay, right?"
wow. her first flower festival.. 'yuck'. Was all the miniscule molly could think as her dusty mahogany paws ripped through the earths soil. Love, friendship.. relationships had never really been Kidneypaw's things. To her, all they were was too fools falling into an accidental chemical reaction between the two felines. So she avoided it at all costs. Of course that was fairly easy for her, considering that there weren't too many cats in ReedClan. But as the cluster of tree's and the overhanging vegetation grew apart to reveal the deepened azure blanket one may call a sky, a sigh pressed the she-cats lips as she hunted to the corner of the clearing. Already excited for this thing to be over, the petite cat prepared herself for the worst of the worst.
The dark ginger tom let out a purr and fluffed his fur in pride. "Only from the best clan ever," he told her enthusiastically. "StormClan is doing really well! The prey has been coming in nicely despite the cold weather." He rolled the blueberries into his pile onto a leaf he used to carry his gatherings. "Is BreezeClan well?"
Thawkit let out a wail of defiance as he fell to the ground. He looked like a dirty white ball of fluff where he lay. The small tom's wide eyes narrowed in surprise at the flick of Hawkkit's tail. He rolled over and scrambled after his denmate, though his short legs didn't take him far. "I'll get you for that!"
The StormClan tom dipped his head to the she-cat. "Squirrelspring," he greeted her with a purr. He gently rolled his bunch of raspberries toward the she-cat. He took note of her scent when she neared. "BreezeClan, I presume?"
Thawkit could feel a knot form in his belly as Hawkkit's kick hit him. He let out a groan as he hit the grass. "Ow!" He struggled to his paws and chased after her, flanking her every step. He reached beneath her with a paw and hooked his claws into the soft moss and flung it toward his chest. "Got it!" He squealed, running the opposite direction.
Blackrose pricked her ears in interest, "Sounds good to me!" she purred back, gently gathering the berries in her mouth she picked her way over to him. Placing the little blue berries at his paws and smiled warmly at him. "How have you been? The names Blackrose," she grinned.
Hawkkit let out a giggle, and gently kicked Thawkit off with her hind legs. She rolled away, shaking her now messy brown pelt. "Come on!" she grinned cheekily at him.
A fluffy ginger tom pricked his ears. He sat by himself with a small group of fruits at his paws. His white maw was painted lightly with strawberry juice. "Blueberries?" Squirrelspring purred. "I have raspberries here."
"Hey!" Thawkit whined as he chased after his denmate. The tiny white tom pounced at the ball, but ended up throwing his weight on top of her as she moved in the way. "Not fair!"
Blackrose pricked her head up, a bunch of blueberries in her mouth. Delicately she placed the ripe berries down by her paws. She was hoping for some raspberries to eat as they'd turned out to be her new favorite treat. Her cream tail swished around her paws, keeping the berries safe from trampling paws. "Anyone want to trade some blueberries for raspberries?" she called out in the group of cats.
Hawkkit pounded on Thawkit and wrestled the ball of moss off the tom kit. "You're on!" she challenged. Snatching the mossy ball up in her teeth she reared up and batted it with her front paws. Scooping it away with a big hit (for a kit) to the other side of the patch of ground they were playing on.
