ISSUING WARNINGS
Any member on this site is allowed to give another member a warning. You do not need to have a title such as moderator or administrator in order to give a warning, but once you issue a warning to another member, the staff will discuss if it is validated. If you see a member outright breaking a rule, you may quote any of our rules for them and send evidence to a staff member right away.
RULES
STRIKE SYSTEM
A member in most cases is given three strikes before they are banned. By the fourth strike, it is an emediate ban. Members will be put on a watch list if they have broken two or more severe rules. Minor rule violations will likely be overlooked. If a member is banned and wants a second chance, they may contact a staff member and ask to redeem themself. If the staff decides so, they will go through a probation period.
Actions made by a user before any rules that have been created on the subject cannot be held accountable for rule breaking.
RESPECT
Please treat everyone with respect and kindness. Be nice, and we can all have a fun time! If you cannot be kind to others, we ask that you take it elsewhere. This also means that you need to respect property. You are not allowed to steal biographies, art or characters from other people.
CONTENT
Please be mindful of the content you put on the site. That means no hard swearing. You may say swears such as "pissed" or "damn" but we do not allow words such as "sh*t." No sexual themes, no discrimination of any kind, and please, no spamming! If we find any posts regarding sex in roleplay or images, it will result in an instant ban. We have children on this site and we need to protect them. And frankly, nobody wants to see that on here.
CHARACTERS
Please do not use names that are used in the books. Names should also not be stolen from others, and characters are not allowed to have "star" in their name, unless they are a leader. We want you to be creative and proud of your characters, and you can't do that if you aren't making them original. Make your characters as realistic as possible. I know when I say "realistic" you're probably thinking, "but warriors aren't realistic in any sense, we're roleplaying talking cats blah blah blah," well, they should not have any weird patterns like star shapes or unrealistic eye colors. If your cat happens to have a rare eye color, maybe they have a condition or disease that has made their eyes that way. Lastly, you should not use a drawing of your cat on the clan pages, for example if you have a drawing of your leader, you need to add a picture of a real cat that resembles them to the page, not the art. This is because we are not roleplaying art, we are roleplaying cats that are meant to look realistic. That doesn't mean we don't want you to be creative. You may add your art to your own character profile for others to enjoy!
GOD-MODING
God-moding is when you make your character invincible. This isn't fun for anyone. Do not under any circumstances kill another user's cat without permission. You may also not roleplay or control a cat that belongs to another user. And that means you may not do something as little as say "Raccoonfluff padded into the den and looked at Heatherface," if you do not roleplay Raccoonfluff. It is the character's roleplayer that has to choose what they do.
BULLYING AND PRIVACY
BULLYING: Cyberbullying is not allowed whatsoever. If you are caught doing this, you'll be issued a warning and then a ban if it continues.
PRIVACY: Do not join the site and make your username your personal name. You may ask people to refer to you as your real FIRST name, but please just do not add your real name in your username. We want to protect your privacy. Make up a username that suits you. You can learn how to change your username in our guide.
You may also not give away your personal information such as street address or a particular town you live in. Admins are capable of seeing your country and possible state so we can keep banned users from coming back to the site, but we are not allowed to give out any personal information.
POSITIONS
APPOINTING YOURSELF TO POSITIONS:
You cannot appoint yourself to a high position (ex: leader, deputy, medicine cat). You must be handed the position or earn it in tryouts. You must also be active or you will lose your position, or not be handed one.
BEGGING FOR POSITIONS:
Begging for a position will lower your chances of getting one. It shows that you only care about power and not the purpose of the site and it is not a trait we are looking for when appointing users to a position of power.
ROLEPLAYING HIGH POSITIONS WHEN YOU DO NOT HAVE ONE:
We kindly ask that you do not roleplay any leaders, deputies, or medicine cats as living or dead, unless you have or had one on the site. Just because you had a leader OC on another platform does not mean they are apart of this site's history. We keep track of all past positions, so if you are caught roleplaying a cat with a high position and never had one on the site itself, you will be given a warning. This rule also unfortunately means that you may not create your own clan, no matter your rank. You may not create your own clan, but you may make rp groups.
LEADER AND MEDICINE CAT POSITIONS:
Users that are already leaders, deputies, or medicine cats of a clan may not go and try out for the same position in a different clan unless you step down first. Once you have stepped down from the position, you may try out for another position. You may have one leadership and one medicine cat position at the same time, but in separate clans. We ask that you do not give yourself any high positions in the same clan if you already have one.
JOINING
Due to being low on staff members who can be heavily active and can consistently update our clans pages, we have made the choice to remove official joining threads as of now. You are now able to create a character on your own and roleplay them without adding them to a specific page, HOWEVER, we advice that you follow rules such as not creating a character with a high position (such as leader, deputy, medicine cat, or other roleplay positions. These positions are reserved for tryouts. We would like you yo keep track of your created characters by creating your own characters thread in the profiles section. Leadership roles will remain on the pages.
PLOTS
FORCED PLOTTING: Do not do forced plotting, please. This is when you take a casual roleplay thread and take it to a weird place out of the blue. For example, if Dewshine is just minding their own business in the clan eating a mouse, don't have Applefoot walk up to them and say stuff like "That mouse's paws are black and that's an omen from StarClan that we are all going to die," and then have a ton of rogues attack the camp out of nowhere. Instead of forced plotting, try having Applefoot sit, share a meal and gossip with Dewshine.
PROPHETIC PLOTS: If you want to do something "prophetic" or make a catastrophe happen, it needs to be in a planned plot, and some plots should be ran by the staff to make sure they are okay. No huge and seemingly important plots, such as one cat being the "savior of clans" should ever happen, because it puts one specific character up higher in a spotlight than other characters and it just isn't fair to anyone else. Basically, don't create a cat that is too special. A plot like this should be taken to a staff member first.
INCEST
Incest is not allowed on the site. It is illegal in the United States. Your characters cannot be in a romantic relationship if they are siblings, not even if they are unaware that they are related. The closest your characters should be related in a romantic relationship is if they are third cousins and beyond. Anything closer than that is not allowed. Yes, incest is included in the Warriros series itself, but there are plenty of cats for your character to choose from, so choose correctly!
ADVERTISING & SPAM
Advertising on the site is not allowed. We do not accept posts or messages about advertising. Any users posting threads as such will be deleted, and any users sending messages asking someone to take part in your advertisement will be made a warning. Same goes for spam. Please do not spam threads or any messages. It creates clutter and backs up our notifications.
ROLEPLAYING AND POSTING
We ask that you do not roleplay in private messaging on this site. We have had experiences in the past where someone will include content that is not allowed on the site in their roleplay, and we want to avoid this. And please, DO NOT DELETE ANY POSTS. Posts must always be monitored, and we count roleplay threads to check the activity levels of a clan. Lowered activity levels in a clan can result in deletion of said clan.
HUMAN, FANTASY, OR OTHER RP
You may roleplay with humans or other creatures in a category separate from roleplay called "RP Unlimited." Since all rules still apply, sexual activities, alcohol or drugs introduced in roleplay will be deleted and issued a warning. If you are making a roleplay, just make sure you add what kind of roleplay you are doing in the title.
